This major provides our students a broad understanding of complex coastal processes and waterway designs in a variety of disciplines related to ocean engineering, offshore and coastal engineering and hydraulic engineering. It combines the theory of waves and tides with coastal modelling, port engineering and management. It is supported with the world-class infrastructure of the very large engineering experimental facilities. The program equips you with important technical skills and a solid understanding increasingly in demand both in China and internationally, and prepares you for life as a port, waterway and offshore engineer.
